The Cap Jewel (top)

Reference no315

The Cap Jewel (315) that locks the balance pivot in the axial direction can be seen to the left in the figure. It is sometimes called end-stone. The cap jewel is often part of a shock-protection system. To the right is the Balance pivot jewel bearing in its housing, the bearing hole diameter is typically 0.1 mm.
